Postgraduate Diploma in Education (BE301)
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
This programme is designed especially for graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent who are keen on becoming educators.
The programme focuses on the development of knowledge, skills and understanding in key aspects of teaching and learning and in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) which requires efficient teaching staff to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum in schools. This programme is different from the Bachelor of Education programme because it is conducted in a minimum of one year with a flexible class schedule.

Minimum Requirement :
A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the UPTM Senate.
Candidates with CGPA of below 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of TWO (2) years working experience in education related fields;
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of FIVE (5) years working experience in education related fields.
