Faculty of Business & Accountancy
With over 60 academic staff, FABA provides a rich learning environment for our students. Our faculty currently runs four Bachelor's degree programmes and one foundation programme, and we are continuously developing new programmes to cater to the changing needs of our students. All of our courses are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifying Agency (MQA) and taught by experienced lecturers who are registered with the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
One of FABA's unique features is our emphasis on providing students with opportunities to engage with businesses and communities. Our training programs are designed not only to support the business community, but also to provide our graduates with real-world experience that complements their education. Our aim is to produce entrepreneurs with strong moral values and intellectual abilities who are equipped to meet the challenges of a globalized world.

From the Dean's Table
On behalf of the Faculty of Business & Accountancy (FABA), I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to all who are interested in joining our academic community. Whether you are a prospective student, a returning scholar, or a valued partner, we welcome your interest in our faculty. FABA consists of the Departments of Business and Accounting, which offer undergraduate programs that meet the highest academic and professional standards. Our dedicated and experienced lecturers provide high-quality education and personalised mentoring to help students achieve their career objectives.
We currently offer seven (7) academic programs, including five dual-award degrees in collaboration with internationally recognised institutions. These programs have been accredited by prestigious professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA), and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), demonstrating our dedication to academic and industry excellence. We are constantly innovating our teaching methods and curriculum to meet the demands of today's dynamic global environment. We provide a comprehensive education in human resources management, marketing, entrepreneurship, economics, Islamic banking and finance, supply chain management, and accounting.
Beyond academics, we encourage students to fully embrace university life, which provides opportunities for personal growth, independence, and leadership development. We aim to produce self-assured, competent, and ethical graduates ready to contribute to society.

DR. NURUL FITRI BINTI MOHD NOOR - BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Nurul Fitri binti Mohd Noor serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Accountancy (FABA) at Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM). She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Criminology, specializing in Forensic Accounting, from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). During the University’s 97th Convocation, she received the Research Excellence Award and the Graduate on Time Award.
Dr. Nurul Fitri has more than 15 years of academic and professional experience in higher education, having held several leadership positions, including Head of Programme at UPTM. She possesses extensive teaching expertise at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, specializing in Auditing, Forensic Accounting, Corporate Governance, and Accounting Information Systems.
