Foundation in Arts (FA001)
The Foundation in Arts (FA001) is a ONE (1) year trimester programme. It is designed as a preparatory course for students to enter a degree-level programme. Students will acquire contemporary knowledge and skills with a particular focus on the arts and humanities field. The programme has achieved full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) starting from 3rd December 2018.
This programme helps to ensure a smooth transitional process into the undergraduate disciplines by setting a strong foundation in the field of social sciences.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- A pass with at least a credit in FIVE (5) subjects at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) level; OR
- A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in THREE (3) subjects; OR
- A pass in O-Level with at least grade C in FIVE (5) subjects; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government; AND
** Entry qualifications for Foundation courses with specialized fields, such as medicine, engineering, and accounting, require students to have additional subject credits (such as Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, and Science) at the SPM/SPMV/O-Level or equivalent, subject to the specific requirements of the field offered.
