RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY%u2019S RESIDENCEStudents must:(a) Return the room key to the Residence Office when leaving the university%u201fs residence during semester breaks or when instructed by the university;(b) Turn off electrical switches and close water taps before leaving their room in the university%u201fs residence;(c) Immediately report to the university%u201fs residence supervisor or fellow warden if any student is found to have or is suspected of having a contagious disease;(d) Be responsible for the cleanliness of their rooms;(e) Ensure that the equipment and facilities provided are in good condition;(f) Comply with all written instructions or regulations issued by the university regarding the university%u201fs residence from time to time..43. PROHIBITIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY%u2019S RESIDENCEStudents are not allowed to:(a) Leave personal belongings in the university%u201fs residence during semester breaks unless with written permission from the residence management;(b) Stay in the university%u201fs residence without written permission from the university%u201fs residence management during mid-semester breaks, semester breaks, or any other period specified by university authorities;(c) Move, relocate, or alter any university%u201fs residence equipment or facilities without permission from the residence management;(d) Modify, install, or add security locks without permission from the university%u201fs residence management;(e) Attach, hang, draw, or display anything that could cause damage to the university%u201fs residence room or area;(f) Bring in, possess, or use any electrical or electronic equipment that is not approved by the university;(g) Cause any disturbance to other residents or the public at any time, especially between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.;Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
