                                    2533. OTHER MATERIALSThe borrowing of non-reading materials is at the discretion of the Director of the InformationResource Centre. In addition to the above regulations, students are also bound by other rules as set by the library from time to time.B) COMPUTER LABORATORIES34. COMPUTER LABORATORIES RULESStudents are allowed to use the computer laboratories outside of official academic hours under staff supervision. Subject to approval of the application, students must:(a) Display their student ID card at all times while using the computer laboratories;(b) Use the computers in accordance with the prescribed regulations;(c) Seek assistance from the computer technician if they encounter any issues with computer  usage;(d) Report to the computer technician immediately if there is a computer malfunction;(e) Dress appropriately in accordance with the personal appearance and dress code (Part IV,  clauses 18-22) of these regulations35. PROHIBITIONSStudents are not allowed to:(a) Enter the computer laboratories without permission and staff supervision;(b) Move or relocate equipment from its original position;(c) Bring food or drinks into the computer laboratories;(d) Use the computers for electronic games, except for purposes related to teaching and learning  with the university's permission;(e) Cause disruptions or fail to comply with the computer laboratories rules;(f) Access websites containing elements of sedition, terrorism, racism, politics, and other prohibited  content, except for teaching and learning purposes;(g) Access websites containing pornography or other related prohibited materials.Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
