APPEARANCE OF MALE STUDENTSMale students must:(a) Dress neatly and modestly at all times.(b) Wear appropriate footwear according to the suitability of the programme/activity, whether inside or outside the university.18. PROHIBITIONS ON THE APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE OF MALE STUDENTSMale students are not permitted to:(a) Keep unkempt long hair, moustaches, or beards, or dye their hair in striking colours;(b) Wear earrings, necklaces, nose rings, chains/bracelets, or similar items, except for religious reasons;(c) Wear kain pelikat, sarung, sandals, slippers, skullcaps, or turbans, except within residential areas or during religious ceremonies;(d) Wear patched clothing or clothing with offensive images or words;(e) Wear singlets, sleeveless shirts, or shorts, including quarter pants, except within residential rooms;(f) Dye their hair in unnatural colours;(g) Wear worn-out, patched, tight, torn, or brightly coloured trousers, except when related to the cultural practices of a particular country;(h) Adorn themselves in a manner resembling women.FEMALE STUDENTS19.
