AUTHORITY OF INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) STAFFICT staff have the authority to instruct any user causing disruptions or not complying with established regulations to leave the computer laboratories. (C) KELAS DAN BILIK KULIAH(C) CLASSROOMS AND LECTURE HALLS37. CLASSROOM AND LECTURE HALLS REGULATIONS(a) The use of any lecture halls or classroom must adhere to the regulations set by the university;(b) Students are not allowed to use any lecture halls even if it is vacant unless with the university%u201fs permission;(c) Student ID must be displayed at all times while using the lecture halls;(d) Any damage must be reported immediately to the administration;(e) Appropriate attire in accordance with the appearance and dress code (Part IV, clauses 18-22)  of these regulations must be observed.38. PROHIBITIONSStudents are not allowed to:(a) Enter lecture halls without permission and supervision by staff outside official academic hours;(b) Move, transfer, or damage equipment from its original location;(c) Bring food or drinks into the lecture halls;(d) Cause disruptions or fail to comply with lecture halls regulations;(e) Engage in improper behaviour or be in pairs (as a couple) in the lecture halls.(D) RESIDENCE39. PLACEMENT IN UNIVERSITY%u2019S RESIDENCE(a) New students who registered for residence are required to stay in the university%u201fs residence  for at least one (1) semester unless approval is obtained from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for  Student Affairs & Alumni (SAA) or an authorised staff member;(b) Students in their second (2) semester and beyond are only allowed to stay in the university%u201fs  residence at the discretion of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of SAA or an authorised staff member, depending on the current situation.Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
