                                    3460. PENALTIESA student found guilty of any disciplinary offence may be subjected to one or more of the following penalties: (a) A warning; (b) A fine not exceeding RM500 for each offence to be paid within a period specified by the USDC; (c) Expulsion/suspension from university%u201fs residence; (d) Ordered to reside in official university%u201fs accommodation; (e) Suspension from the university for a specified period; (f) Expulsion from the university.61. PAYMENT OF FINES/COMPOUNDSFines/compounds must be paid to the university%u201fs Finance Department before registering for the next semester.62. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH PENALTIESAn accused student who has been found guilty and sentenced but fails to comply with the imposed penalty may immediately be suspended from being a student and/or barred from using any university facilities for a specified period.63. EXPULSION FROM UNIVERSITY/RESIDENCEStudents who have been expelled or suspended from the university/residence must vacate the university/residence premises within seven (7) working days after the notice is issued. Failure to do so grants the university the right to file a police report for further action.64. UNIVERSITY STUDENT DISCIPLINARY APPEAL COMMITTEE (USDAC)(a) The University Student Disciplinary Appeal Committee (USDAC) is composed of six (6) members,  including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of SAA as Chairperson, appointed by the Vice-Chancellor  of UPTM. Other USDAC members are: (i) A Secretary from the Senior Executive/Executive of SAA (ii) Four (4) Lecturers/Assistant Registrars as members (iii) One (1) Counsellor (Observer) (iv) One (1) member of the SRC/Discipline and Ethics Exco/Welfare Exco (Observer)Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
