12(b) Through gestures or symbolic actionsPhysical actions that display, imply, or depict desires with sexual elements, causing the individual to feel disturbed, humiliated, offended, uncomfortable, or threatened.Examples:%u2022 Hand gestures or facial expressions suggesting sexual acts.%u2022 Gazes, stares, or glances focused on specific body parts.%u2022 Approaching, pressing, or getting close in a manner that suggests sexual implications.(c) VisualThe act of sending notes, letters, electronic communications (emails), short message services (SMS), multimedia messaging services (MMS), images (photos), posters, reading materials, or objects withsexual elements through various forms of social media (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), electronic devices, or communication tools to the complainant, causing the complainant to feel disturbed, humiliated, offended, uncomfortable, or threatened.Examples:%u2022 Using, sending, or sharing sexually suggestive logos/symbols/emojis.%u2022 Distributing sexually explicit images, whether in print or digital form.%u2022 Displaying or placing sexually themed images/posters/statues/models/objects.(d) PsychologicalActs of attempting or threatening to engage in sexual advances, encouraging, pressuring, urging, intimidating, or coercing in order to fulfil the harasser's sexual desires, whether through letters, phone calls, emails, or any form of communication devices directed at the complainant, resultingin emotional and psychological distress to the complainant.Examples:%u2022 Inviting the victim to engage in sexual activity during every encounter;%u2022 Threatening to post videos/photos of their relationship on social media;%u2022 Exposing private parts when passing by the victim at the workplace; or%u2022 Repeatedly inviting the victim to go out alone, even after multiple rejections.Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
