8PART II: GENERAL DISCIPLINE3. GENERAL CONDITIONSStudents must:(a) Possess and always carry their Student ID;(b) Display the Student ID when requested by university staff.4. GENERAL PROHIBITIONSStudents are prohibited from:(a) Violating any regulations or written laws, whether on or off campus, or online.(b) Violating any religious laws and cultural norms of society, whether on or off campus.(c) Conducting any activities, whether on or off campus, that could harm or damage the interests, peace, or reputation of the university, or the reputation of any student or staff, or that could disturb public order, safety, or moral decency and discipline.(d) Disrupting or in any way interfering with, or causing the disruption or interference of, any activities conducted under the instruction or with the permission of university authorities.(e) Preventing or obstructing, or causing to be prevented, obstructed, or disturbed, any staff or any person acting under the direction or authorisation of an officer (including students) from performing their duties or responsibilities;(f) Injuring or killing by any means, or causing any student, university staff, or member of the public to be injured or killed, whether within or outside the university;(g) Preventing or obstructing, or causing any student to be prevented or obstructed from attending any academic activities or official university events;(h) Organising, inciting, or participating in the boycott of any academic activities or official university events;(i) Damaging by any means, or causing damage to, any property belonging to the university, staff, or students;(j) Altering, disrupting, moving, or damaging any item, object, or thing, or performing any act, or causing any act to be performed, with the intent to, or that may, cause obstruction, inconvenience, annoyance, loss, or damage to any person;Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
