9(k) Violating regulations or failing to comply with any instructions or requirements from university staff regarding the use of university facilities;(l) Doing anything that could affect the cleanliness and tidiness of the campus;(m) Utilising, or causing to be utilised, any part of the campus or any building on campus or in residences, except in areas designated for such use by the university;(n) Entering any part of the campus that has been designated as a prohibited or restricted area;5. SPECIFIC PROHIBITIONSStudents are prohibited from:(a) Organising, managing, conducting, or assisting in organising, managing, conducting, or participating in any form of gambling, whether on or off campus, in residences, or online;(b) Drinking, distributing, or having in possession, custody, or control any alcoholic beverages or their containers on campus or in residences;(c) Smoking, distributing, or having in possession, or custody any type of cigarette or its container while being within the university premises;(d) Possessing drugs, having drugs under one's supervision, distributing, consuming, smoking, inhaling, or injecting drugs, or introducing them into one's body by any means, except under a prescription from a medical practitioner registered under the Medical Act 1971 and the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and its amendments;(e) Possessing, keeping, distributing, watching, or listening to any obscene materials on or off campus, in residences, or online;(f) Visiting any place of vice, gambling venues, or other places that may be regarded as immoral;(g) Engaging in immoral acts or any misconduct that goes against religious regulations or societal cultural norms;(h) Engaging in, participating in, or organising any form of activity that involves physical, mental, or emotional abuse, or any other acts that may be considered abusive towards any student;Student Handbook and Disciplinary Regulations of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia
