6%u201cCounsellor%u201d means a person who is authorised to assist and guide students;%u201cRestricted area%u201d refers to any part or area of the campus and residence that is prohibited from entry at specified times, except with the permission of the university.%u201cProhibited area%u201d refers to any part or area of the campus and residence where entry is always forbidden;%u201cResidence%u201d refers to any dwelling, by whatever name it is called, provided by the university for students.%u201cVehicle%u201d refers to all types of motor vehicles, including electric bikes/scooters;%u201cCriminal offence%u201f refers to any illegal act;%u201dCategory A offence%u201d refers to an offence stated in Schedule IV as well as repeated Category B or C offences. The punishment for a Category A offence must be decided by the University Student Disciplinary Committee (USDC) and may result in dismissal from the university;%u201cCategory B offence%u201d refers to an offence stated in Schedule III as well as repeated Category C offences.
